Create a rock-solid base for exterior light fixtures mounted on vinyl or aluminum lap siding, without removing any siding. Vinyl mounting blocks are available for almost any lap and securely hold lights upright. Push the wire through the cable connecter, then screw the block to the sheathing. For.

Oct 10,  · Inside I'm thinking of a red light and a white light, separately switched. One possibility, particularly for the red light is LEDs - very efficient and readily available in red. One LED plus resistor run off 12v should suffice for the red light. I may go for that. I'll be thinking more .

Jun 01,  · Roof-top Observatory This reed dagger was in the roof-top moth trap this morning. It is most probably a migrant or a wanderer from the nearest confirmed breeding areas in Rye Bay and Dungeness. The number of moths coming to the moth light is still very low compared to the end of April even though the night time temperatures are higher.
